Our Cesarine cooks also recommend sautéing a little sausage in a saucepan and then adding the sauce. Once the pasta is cooked in plenty of salted water, finish cooking it by tossing it in the pan with the sauce for a few minutes. This will help to marry the ingredients together for delicious results.
This sauce is also perfect to use as a base ingredient in all sorts of recipes. By preparing a thick béchamel sauce, you can use it for your lasagne or for an excellent vegetarian baked pasta.
