An authentic and rustic sauce with a delicate flavour for those looking for an alternative to the traditional tomato-based ragù. Only selected cuts from chicken, turkey and rabbit and fragrant herbs such as sage and rosemary are the ingredients of our white farmyard ragout. The original recipe for this sauce has been preserved for generations in the family recipe books of our experienced cooks.

In family farms, it was common to breed these animals and then use them in the kitchen to make sauces for homemade pasta to feed the whole family. As with all traditional meat sauces, its preparation requires time and patience. With our farmyard ragù you will only have the pleasure to taste this Italian speciality prepared as tradition teaches, without having to spend hours in the kitchen!

Ingredients: meat 43% (rabbit, chicken, turkey), vegetable broth (water, vegetable concentrate (carrot, onion, leek), salt, white pepper, rice flour), bacon 7%, celery, carrot, onion, extra virgin olive oil, white wine, Cervia sea salt, sage, rosemary. Contains sulphites. May contain traces of soy. Gluten free.

Egg pasta the perfect match for the white farmhouse ragù sauce. Why not try this sauce with the famous tagliatelle of the Emilian tradition? Another great match is the rustiche, which is a pasta similar in shape but rougher and more porous, perfect for carrying a delicious sauce. Even garganelli pasta, thanks to its ridged texture, would be a lovely pairing.

Simply heat the sauce in a large pan with a ladle of cooking water to obtain the perfect density for your pasta. The Cesarine, in our homes, use this sauce to prepare excellent white lasagne, adding to the white farmhouse ragù some sautéed vegetables such as mushrooms and asparagus. Wherever your imagination takes you, this sauce will appeal to the whole family.
