Our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI has a persistent fragrance with a pleasant note of acidity and the balanced sweet and sour flavour that is characteristic of a quality balsamic vinegar. This product is one of the icons of the gastronomic culture of the Emilia-Romangna region. It is distinguished from wine vinegar by its clear and bright appearance, its intense brown colour and the woody notes of its fragrance.
Registered as a PGI product (Protected Geographical Indication) by the European Union in 2009, our vinegar is a certified mark of the characteristics that define traditional Balsamic Vinegar, from the production process to the presentation method.
