As the legendary Federico Fellini used to say: 'life is a combination of pasta and magic'.
Driven by this conviction, we decided to launch the Cesarine TV project, a miniseries of completely free cooking lessons streamed live on Instagram and Facebook.
It's a way for you to virtually enter the homes of our expert cooks from all over Italy and discover the secrets of ancient local recipes handed down from generation to generation. We have 2 formats: a single Cesarina with her favourite recipe or a challenge between two famous recipes represented by two Cesarine.

Pasta Patate e Provola with Cesarina Anna R. from Frosinone
Anna is a young Cesarina, originally from Campania but now living in the province of Frosinone. She tells us how her love of her culinary tradition began: 'My passion for cooking stems from my grandmother, who was a pizza maker and baker, and my mother, who loved good food. Watching them, I loved cooking from the very first moment. This is a recipe from the heart that reminds me of my origins: pasta with potatoes and provola cheese".
Focaccia di Recco VS Focaccia Barese with Cesarina Maria Cristina and Cesarina Juanita.
Cesarina Maria Cristina F. lives in Cecina but has Ligurian origins. She loves the scents of natural products and her passion for cooking is to enhance the taste of what she eats. The focaccia of Recco is a beautiful memory of her childhood.
Cesarina Juanita P. is an Apulian through and through. Her table is full of traditional dishes: the typical orecchiette with 'cima di rapa' (turnip tops), octopus "alla pignata", cavatelli pasta with mussels and, of course, taralli and focaccia from Bari.
Pizza Napoletana VS Pizza Romana with Cesarina Alba and Cesarini David and Flavio
Cesarina Alba M. lives in Pagani, in the province of Salerno, and is the youngest member of our community, but don't let her age fool you: in addition to being a professional nutritionist, she is also an expert connoisseur of the gastronomic traditions of her land and loves Neapolitan pizza madly. "I discovered my love of cooking by watching my mother and grandmother. Cooking makes me happy and brings positivity to even the greyest of days. My greatest treasure is my mother's cookbook!"
The Cesarini family, David and Flavio R., live in Rome's Centocelle area, where they returned after a few years working in the Dolomites in the Fassa Valley. Here they cultivate their passions: cooking, art and the art of hosting. By ethical choice, they follow a vegetarian and organic diet, using products from fair-trade suppliers and purchasing directly from producers. Their favourite food is pizza, strictly in the Roman style!
